Overview

Leonardo UK is seeking a PMO Analyst to join its Digital & IT PMO team. The role supports a dynamic portfolio of change across a fast-evolving IT organisation. The role is hybrid with the normal onsite place of work being our Bristol office (or negotiable to some other Leonardo sites); some travel to other UK sites may be required occasionally.

What You’ll Do As a PMO Analyst

  • Provide practical advice, guidance, and quality assurance to ensure IT projects follow the established project management methodology.
  • Support and facilitate resource meetings and governance forums to enable effective decision-making and project oversight.
  • Collate management information and data to contribute to monthly performance reviews and portfolio reporting.
  • Facilitate the review process for lessons learned and report key findings to the Portfolio performance review.
  • Assist project managers in project delivery using in-house tools and industry recognised methodologies.
  • Prioritise workload and effectively communicate issues and escalations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the IT organisation.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and other support teams to deliver an integrated service.

What You Will Bring

  • Previous experience of working within a PMO team.
  • Exposure to and understanding of the full project life cycle (Waterfall & Agile methodologies).
  • Demonstrable attention to detail, thoroughness and commitment to quality and accountability of own output.
  • Experience with implementing process improvement practices (desirable).
  • Experience with Jira (desirable).
  • APMP or PRINCE2 certification is desirable.

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
