Overview
PMO Analyst role at Leonardo UK to help drive and assure a dynamic portfolio of change across a fast-evolving IT organisation. The role is hybrid with the normal onsite place of work being our Bristol office (or negotiable to some other Leonardo sites). Some travel to other UK sites may be required occasionally.
What You’ll Do
- Provide practical advice, guidance, and quality assurance to ensure IT projects follow the established project management methodology.
- Support and facilitate resource meetings and governance forums to enable effective decision-making and project oversight.
- Collate management information and data to contribute to monthly performance reviews and portfolio reporting.
- Facilitate the review process for Lessons learned and report key findings to the Portfolio performance review.
- Assist project managers in project delivery using in-house tools and industry recognised methodologies.
- Prioritise workload and effectively communicate issues and escalations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the IT organisation.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and other support teams to deliver an integrated service.
What You Will Bring
- Previous experience of working within a PMO team.
- Exposure to and understanding of the full project life cycle (Waterfall & Agile Methodologies).
- Demonstrable attention to detail, thoroughness and commitment to quality and accountability of own output.
- Experience with implementing process improvement practices (desirable).
- Experience with Jira (desirable).
- APMP or PRINCE 2 certification is desirable.

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, which could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
