We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to work in the Wales road safety team, supporting the delivery of an annual road safety programme alongside the Road Safety Manager, Wales. You will play a crucial role in collaborating with funders in the Welsh Government; road safety partners in local authorities and the emergency services in Wales and other stakeholders, by delivering road safety projects and advice.
Ensuring accuracy and best practice in task delivery and coordination, the management of deadlines and effective in-person and online communication are key responsibilities for this role.
Responsibilities
- Responding to in-coming road safety enquiries
- Liaising with funders and road safety partners in local authorities and the emergency services
- Supporting the coordination and delivery of all Wales road safety projects
- Contributing to information, resources, and online content aligned to road safety policy, activities and services in Wales

Experience and qualifications
- Experience and qualifications to demonstrate strong project work and organisational skills
- Previous experience in a road safety role or within a related field
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Strong team collaboration skills
