Summary
Lead Forensics is a leading SAAS company with products in the B2B sales and marketing space. We’re seeking a product delivery manager to manage the delivery of our customer facing products through agile methodologies. You will be responsible for the scoping, execution management and rollout of our agile initiatives, managing the delivery for multiple agile software development squads, which are continuously integrating and deploying code to production. This role is a high impact role with the opportunity to shape the product delivery and directly impact customer satisfaction and business success. For the right candidate there is an opportunity for a Senior Product Delivery Manager role, with additional responsibilities of leading a small team of delivery managers.
This position is responsible for the agile product ownership and delivery management within the engineering department, and requires someone with a customer-focused mindset, who is able to work across the business with all stakeholders, as well as having a strong technical background to work in depth on complex engineering deliveries with the software developers. Successful candidates are likely to have been developers in the past, with agile delivery/technical software project management experience.
Key Responsibilities
Product Scoping and Agile Planning
- Scoping the initiatives of work within engineering for developing the products, working with relevant product managers and other internal business stakeholders.
- Collaborating with product managers to scope and prioritize features that drive rapid value delivery with short feedback cycles.
- Driving the refinement and planning of user stories with the software development squads.
Execution and Value Delivery Management
- Overseeing multiple agile software development squads with continuous deployment goals, tracking key agile metrics and reporting on progress of execution.
- Ensuring the deliverables meet the business needs, running stakeholder reviews, driving rollout and incorporating feedback into the updates of the backlog.
The ideal candidate will have
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, able to work with a diverse set of cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a customer centric mindset, being accountable for the deliveries meeting the needs of the customer and business.
- Strong technical software background, able to work into details with the developers to refine and manage the delivery of complex software systems.
- Strong experience working with developers following mature DevOps practices.
- A good understanding of agile and lean product principals, with experience working with popular agile frameworks.
- A forward thinking attitude, looking to pave the way with new practices needed with the introduction of agentic AI in software development.
- Proficiency with agile project management tools like JIRA, Confluence.
- You’ll need to work flexible across our product portfolio, with the ability to quickly understand the business requirements for new spaces.
- A technical/computer science degree or equivalent professional experience in agile delivery or project management.
