Contract Project Engineering Manager

Location: Manchester (Hybrid, min. 3 days/week)
Rate: 65/hour Outside IR35
Sector: Infrastructure - Nuclear, Water, Transport

We're hiring an experienced Project Engineering Manager on a contract basis to lead multi-disciplinary design delivery on major UK infrastructure projects in regulated sectors.

• Manage engineering design through all project stages

• Lead multi-discipline teams and coordinate delivery

• Ensure safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets are met

• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams

• Support proposals, governance, and risk management

• Strong experience in complex, regulated infrastructure projects

• Client-facing leadership and team coordination skills

• Degree in Engineering (essential)

• SC clearance eligible

• Chartered Engineer / APM (desirable)
