Overview

Are you immediately available and looking for your next opportunity within talent acquisition? Wickes is a leading multichannel retailer and we are looking for a Resourcing Business Partner to join our established team for a period of 3 months. You will be part of the team responsible for recruitment across our stores, ensuring we find the best talent for our business. Candidates must be available to start by the 13th October.

Working collaboratively with key stakeholders across the business, you will recruit for store leadership and showroom roles, while delivering a recruitment process with pace, attention to detail and a focus on developing an exceptional candidate experience. This role can be completed with a blend of remote working and in-person collaboration, requiring 1-2 days per week in Watford or in stores. Working pattern: Monday - Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake recruitment for store leadership and showroom roles.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to ensure timely and effective recruitment.
  • Manage the recruitment process with pace and attention to detail, focusing on an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Operate autonomously with a proactive approach to engage the best talent, minimise time to hire and realise cost savings where possible.

Qualifications

  • Ideally in-house recruitment experience, with experience managing recruitment of high-volume frontline colleagues.
  • Experience in challenging markets and a creative/innovative approach to recruitment marketing, including selecting resourcing channels and direct sourcing.
