The opportunity

As a Sales Account Manager – this is your chance to work for a business supplying key fibre optic components that enable the AI and Data Centre boom we are currently experiencing.

You will work with an experienced Sales Manager to develop existing accounts as well as finding new business within those accounts.

The role will involve 50% travel to customer sites and global events, so it’s a customer facing position and you’ll have the chance to build deep and meaningful relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop existing accounts and identify new business within those accounts.
  • Engage with customers to promote fibre optic components.
  • Travel to customer sites and global events (approximately 50%).

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of fibre optics; daily technical conversations with clients.
  • Experience in developing key accounts and territories.
  • Hybrid role; willing to visit the site in Basingstoke a few days per week; location flexibility negotiable.
