The business runs high‑impact events and customer acquisition campaigns with industry‑best conversion performance and is recognised for delivering measurable sales outcomes for clients. They’re now scaling their commercial function and seeking a senior sales leader to drive the next phase of growth.

The role

You will join as Sales Director, reporting into the Senior Leadership Team, with full ownership for the UK sales strategy. You’ll lead a compact team of 5 sales professionals, selling into dealer groups and multi‑site operators. This is a hands‑on commercial leadership role: you’ll coach, motivate, and performance‑manage the team while also hunting and closing strategic new business.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of 5 B2B salespeople to consistently hit and exceed revenue targets.
  • Own and execute UK sales strategy focused on dealer groups, regional networks and OEM partners.
  • Build and retain high‑value client relationships; act as the senior commercial contact for key accounts.
  • Use data and conversion metrics to optimise approaches and improve ROI for clients.
  • Work closely with Marketing & Events to align commercial offers with campaign delivery and client outcomes.
  • Represent the business at industry events and lead targeted business development activity.

Experience & attributes required

  • Significant, demonstrable sales leadership experience within the automotive sector, ideally selling to dealer groups or multi‑site operators.
  • Proven track record of building and managing high‑performing B2B sales teams.
  • Strong commercial instincts, excellent negotiation skills and a data‑driven approach to selling.
  • Comfortable with a hybrid working pattern but available to be onsite regularly at the office during the initial period.
  • Confident presenter and networker; credible at senior / board‑level conversations.
