Sales Director — FinTech (Capital Markets)

London (Hybrid)

This fast-growing capital markets scale-up (Series B funded) is hiring a new business hunter to build and close enterprise deals across the UK & EMEA. This is someone who loves creating pipeline, navigating complex stakeholders and winning six-figure SaaS/data contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Win new institutional clients (buy-side, sell-side, venues, issuers, corporates) across EMEA.
  • Work with Marketing & Product to sharpen messaging and shape the roadmap with market feedback.
  • Be the face of the firm at client meetings and select industry events (EU travel ~quarterly).
  • Report to the Head of Sales, with a strong GTM engine behind you and room to scale.

You’ll bring

  • A proven new-business track record in fintech/capital markets.
  • Credibility with C-suite and senior stakeholders; confident handling longer, complex cycles.
  • Experience selling SaaS and/or data solutions into institutional clients.
  • A disciplined, conversion-focused approach (CRM first mindset; HubSpot).
  • Self-management, pace and structure suited to a scale-up.

What success looks like

  • Consistent creation of qualified pipeline.
  • Clear, actionable market insight feeding the product roadmap.
  • Predictable forecasting and crisp deal execution.

Package

  • Uncapped commission (c. 10% per deal with accelerators), paid monthly on signature
  • Renewals uplift on top
  • Hybrid: 2–3 days/week in the London office
