Job Description: HIBBETT RETAIL, Inc. has a full-time opening for a Senior Analyst, Systems in Birmingham, AL.

Job Summary:

Duties include analyzing application gaps and new solutions where needed. Performing impact analysis of various Ecommerce applications/systems as a result of change and providing solutions. Defining appropriate techno-functional solution design in collaborations with architect and business users. Translating business requirements and capabilities into technical solutions in collaboration with business analysts, architects, and business partners. Analyzing complex Ecommerce, locating, and storing data systems and documenting data elements, data flow relationships, and dependencies. Developing code, test plans, expected results, and test data at a program level. Coordinating and performing system testing and assisting with quality assurance and user acceptance testing. Reviewing requirement documents and approving technical specifications. Interfacing with business users and management. Assisting with project estimation activities. Providing critical, time-sensitive, Ecommerce integration application support. Protecting the company's assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or its foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or related IT or Engineering discipline.
  • Plus 60 months experience in the position offered or similar IT occupation. Experience must be post-bachelor's and progressive and must include 5 years in developing code, test plans, expected results, and testing the solution developed, in designing, developing & testing mid-large applications using Informatica/ETL, in data analysis, data transformation, conceptual data modeling, data transformation, and metadata management.
  • 2 years in architecting an ETL solution and data conversion strategy and in a Retail Multi-Channel organization.

Work Arrangement: HYBRID – CAN WORK REMOTELY UP TO 50% AND 50% AT HEADQUARTERS LOCATION UP TO 50%. THE EMPLOYEE MUST LIVE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE OF THE HEADQUARTERS LOCATION.
