Senior Bid Manager – Communications & Managed Services £50,000 Basic Salary plus bonusHome‑based with some travel across the UK About the Client Our Client is a Communications & Managed Service Provider that supplies communication services to enterprise and government customers across the UK. As part of their expansion, they are looking for an experienced Senior Bid Manager to manage bid and contract management for their New Business & Account Management sales teams across the UK. Responsibilities
Project manage tender responses to win prestigious accounts and manage the process from initial request to contract delivery. Represent the team on customer meetings and project discussions. Respond to national tenders, prepare submissions, and maintain records, accurate reporting and legal negotiation. Travel within the UK as required. Work under tight deadlines in a highly pressured environment while coordinating with virtual team members across all business levels.
Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience as a Tender or Bid Manager, working independently. Strong influencing, diplomacy, and excellent literacy and numeracy skills. High levels of multi‑tasking and ability to work well under pressure. Proficient in spreadsheets and presentation software. Experience assisting busy accounts managers and good understanding of the communications marketplace.
