Senior Bid Manager - Communications & Managed Services £50,000 Basic Salary plus bonus. Home-based with some travel across the UK. Our Client is a Communications & Managed Service Provider that supplies communications services to Enterprise & Government customers across the UK. They are looking for an experienced Senior Bid Manager to manage bid management and contract management for their New Business & Account Management sales teams across the UK. Responsibilities:
Project manage tender responses from initial request to contract delivery. Attend customer meetings and represent the team on projects. Respond to national tenders, prepare submissions, record keeping, accurate reporting, and legal negotiation. Work under tight deadlines in a highly pressured environment. Liaise with virtual team members throughout all levels of the business.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience as a Tender or Bid Manager. High levels of literacy, numeracy, multi-tasking, and ability to work well under pressure. Strong influencing skills, diplomacy, good knowledge of spreadsheets and presentation software. Experience supporting a busy team of Account Managers. Understanding of the communications marketplace.
