BARBRI, Inc is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team. Reporting to the Director, FP&A, this role will be heavily involved in all accounting and finance processes including month end close, budget, and forecast. This individual will also provide relevant, accurate and timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders. The Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate with business partners across the enterprise to understand their business and provide analytical decision support. Key to the success of this position will be the ability to deliver reporting and financial analysis which will make sense of data and provide key insights and recommendations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of the forecast and budgeting process
  • Own preliminary consolidated and product-level revenue reporting as part of the monthly close cycle
  • Manage the data load process and ensure system tie-out between the GL and Adaptive for actuals, forecast and budget
  • Using Adaptive, manage the monthly operational reporting process
  • Partner with individual business units to provide financial support and analysis
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as required to support business needs
  • Develop and maintain financial models as needed to support business operations
  • Assist with the development of consolidated KPI dashboard and other reporting needs for the organization
  • Update reporting and presentations for management on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Communicate and present results of analysis with recommended courses of action
  • Proactively develop analysis that provides additional insight and support to management and department heads
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Minimum Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA a bonus
  • Minimum 4-8 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance or related financial analysis roles
  • Hands-on experience with Adaptive Insights strongly preferred; NetSuite experience a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills, with experience in PowerPoint and Word

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong financial acumen with demonstrated analytical ability
  • Experience in reporting and analysis including financial modeling and dashboard reporting
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a track record of partnering across functional teams
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with ability to meet deadlines
  • Curiosity and creativity to analyze the business and assess opportunities and risks
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a continuous improvement mindset
