With offices across the UK, we take pride in our collaborative approach, our technical excellence, and our focus on sustainability and innovation.Join us and be part of something meaningful.What You’ll DoAs a Senior or Principal Hydrogeologist, you’ll play a key role in the development of our hydrogeology capability. You will:Lead and manage groundwater projects, from initial concept through to delivery and reportingProvide expert advice on hydrogeological issues, including environmental impact assessments, groundwater risk assessments, pollution control, environmental permitting and regulatory submissionsUndertake comprehensive hydrogeological assessments, including water resource, abstraction licensing, dewatering assessments, impact (HIA), risk assessments (HRA), groundwater and risk modelling, and contaminated land assessmentsLiaise with clients, regulators (e.g., Environment Agency, NRW, SEPA), and stakeholders to provide strategic and technical guidanceCollaborative and supportive teamwork, participate in mentoring and training other staff in key technical areas, sharing your knowledge and encouraging good practicesContribute to business development by preparing proposals, building client relationships, and identifying new opportunitiesAssist in the development of client relationships and opportunities for continued growth of environmental services based on your skills and areas of expertiseEnsure high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all projectsWhat we are looking forA degree (and ideally a postgraduate qualification) in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related disciplineChartered status (or approaching chartered status) with a relevant professional body (e.g., CIWEM, GeolSoc)A minimum of five years of relevant industry experience is required for the Senior position, while eight years of relevant industry experience is necessary for the Principal position.
