Senior Legal Counsel page is loaded## Senior Legal Counsellocations: Reading Forbury: Perth Officetime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todaytime left to apply: End Date: November 27, 2025 (20 days left to apply)job requisition id: JR952Senior Legal CounselNeos Networks offers alternative working arrangements that give employees some flexibility, including office, home and hybrid working.**Base location: Glasgow, Perth, Reading or Havant** (2 days per week in office) **Salary:** £highly competitive + performance related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing. **Working Pattern:** Permanent Full time with the option of hybrid workingReporting to General Counsel, you will be responsible for providing legal support to a variety of stakeholders across Neos Networks.* Providing proactive and pragmatic legal advice on a range of legal, commercial, regulatory, and operational issues and ensuring legal risks are understood and managed* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating sales and supplier agreements, working closely with the sales, procurement and commercial teams* Developing and maintaining precedent agreements* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements* Providing specialist advice and guidance on commercial contractual requirements to stakeholders* Building strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, to educate and advise on legal matters* Effectively prioritising the demands of several stakeholders at once and engaging at a senior level* Occasionally advising on and negotiating to settle commercial and contractual disputes**Requirements:*** Commercial solicitor, qualified to practise in the England and Wales* Minimum 4 years PQE (PQE is given as a guide but candidates with commensurate experience will be welcomed), ideally with experience in telecoms, infrastructure, or technology sectors* Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts, including supplier and customer agreements* Strong understanding of commercial law, regulatory frameworks, construction contracts, and telecoms-specific compliance (e.g. Ofcom, NEC3/4, DCMS frameworks).* Experience in dispute resolution, including commercial settlements and litigation support* Familiarity with Cyber Security, GDPR and data protection issues is advantageous but not essential.* Excellent communication, legal drafting and negotiating skills* Deep understanding of commercial law* Ability to work independently and lead your own matters, with confidence* Ability to multi-task, collaborate with and influence multiple stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally* An understanding of regulatory requirements within the telecoms sector* Confident and capable in using modern workplace technologies, with an ability to navigate digital tools and platforms, including document collaboration systems and legal AI software.* Proactive approach to learning new systems and leveraging technology to improve efficiency and communication across the team and wider business.**Next Steps**All applications should be submitted online, and I'll be back in touch after the vacancy closing date to let you know the outcome.
