Senior National Account Manager – Maternity Cover (12 months)

Remote / hybrid – team meets weekly in London

We’re working with a fast-growing, values-led B Corp in the personal care space – and they’re on the hunt for a commercially sharp Senior National Account Manager to join their team on a 12-month maternity cover.

This brand has carved out a brilliant position in UK retail – offering plant-based, natural care products designed to support people through life. Backed by heavyweight investors from the likes of Unilever, Method and Charlotte Tilbury, they’re stocked in Tesco, Boots, Sainsbury’s, Superdrug and scaling fast.

They’re all about growing with integrity – 5% of profits go to people and planet causes – and they’ve built a culture that blends ambition with authenticity. It’s a small, mission-driven team with big plans for the next 12 months – and this role will be a key part of that.

The Role:

This is a senior leadership opportunity within the commercial team. You’ll take full ownership of the brand’s top UK Grocery & High Street accounts – driving growth, leading key partnerships, and managing a high-performing team of three Account Managers.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Commercial and founders to shape strategy, land launches, and unlock smart, sustainable growth across the UK retail landscape.

What You'll Be Doing:

Own and grow key UK Grocery & High Street customers (e.g. Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Boots, Superdrug)

Lead on new business opportunities across UK retail

Drive JBP negotiations, range reviews and new listings with rigour and clarity

Hit revenue, margin and spend targets while keeping ROI and brand values in mind

Build collaborative relationships across internal teams and with retail partners

Lead forecasting, promotions, pricing and trade investment planning

Identify and activate new commercial growth opportunities

Work closely with supply chain, finance and brand to deliver great customer experiences

Coach and support a team of 3 Account Managers

Foster a high-performance, purpose-led team culture

Embed strong reporting and scalable ways of working across the sales function

Future-Focused Thinking

Stay on the pulse of category trends and shopper behaviour

Feed insight into the broader commercial strategy and growth roadmap

Represent the brand with credibility, creativity and a little sparkle

What You’ll Bring:

8+ years of FMCG experience with proven retail account ownership

Strong understanding of UK Grocery and/or High Street retail

Team leadership experience – you know how to get the best from people

Commercially confident – great with JBPs, P&Ls, and data-backed decision making

A sharp, strategic mind with a hands-on approach

Passion for purpose-led brands and building something that matters
