We are looking to recruit permanently to a Senior Practitioner role based within the North and West locality adult social care team at Bristol City Council.

We are looking to recruit permanently to a Senior Practitioner role based within the North and West locality adult social care team at Bristol City Council.
This is a great opportunity to develop your leadership and supervisory skills in a diverse and dynamic locality. It is an exciting time to be part of a community social work team as we embed our new locality model of service delivery.
You will have support from me as the Team Manager and also the Service Manager. You must have an interest in and experience of working in a multi-disciplinary way, be able to work quickly and proportionately and have confidence in respect of decision making and positive risk taking.
The Senior Practitioner role involves supervising social care practitioners, social workers, and overseeing the development of ASYEs & student social workers; being part of the leadership team and undertaking strategic work; and building relationships with internal and external partners.
You will need to be a good communicator, with excellent time management skills.
Please note that this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
