Overview

Senior Product Designer - Data at GWI. Location: London. Office requirement: 1 day per week. Employment type: Permanent.

GWI is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join the Data Team in London. You will take ownership of the end-to-end design process for internal facing tools and products, collaborating with the Staff Product Designer and Director of Product Design to define and lead design delivery from research and ideation to prototyping, experimentation, and user testing. This is a high-impact role focused on delivering elegant solutions for complex systems at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Work within an Agile, cross-functional squad and partner with product, market research, and engineering teams to deliver seamless and impactful user journeys.
  • Plan and evaluate design discovery, evolve the design system for scalability, and continuously iterate based on user feedback and performance data.
  • Balance data-driven decisions with innovative design approaches to ensure experiences align with user needs and business objectives.
  • Adapt to a high-tempo environment with flexibility as the company grows.

Required and preferred qualifications

  • Hands-on experience designing and leading user-centered delivery of internal and data-heavy interfaces that drive productivity across varied systems.
  • AI and LLM fluency; you design for workflows powered by LLMs, prompts, and automated insights.
  • Strong expertise in UX/UI design with a solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and responsive design.
  • Proactive, collaborative mindset; ability to work with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, product, and data.
  • Experience conducting UX research and usability testing; able to interpret qualitative and quantitative feedback to refine designs.
  • Attitude: ambitious, curious, respectful to colleagues at all levels; willingness to learn and grow.
