Soho, London
Monday to Thursday in the office with Fridays off (full salary maintained) - this new 4-day work week is a 6-month trial, starting 19th May 2025.
The Role
LiveScore Group are looking for a highly talented and experienced Senior Product Designer to help take our market-leading sports & casino apps & websites to the next level.
Reporting to one of our Head of Product Design, this is a fantastic opportunity to help develop a user-centred design and research culture within our growing product team. You’ll play an integral part in the future development of our products and features, and the work that you produce will be used by millions of LiveScore users every week.
As a Senior Product Designer, you will work closely with product teams, researchers, designers, and developers across all stages of the product lifecycle to produce innovative, user-centred solutions that our global userbase of loyal sports fans will love. You will have a passion for clean, cohesive and purposeful design, a strong understanding of design best practices, and use research and empathy to inform your decision making. You will drive cross-functional collaboration and will champion outcome driven design.
You’ll work closely with designers across all product areas, building the media, sportsbook, casino and core platform experiences, to ensure a cohesive and delightful experience end to end for our users.
LiveScore Group is home to LiveScore, LiveScore Bet and Virgin Bet, three of the most exciting brands in the sports and gaming industries today.
We are passionate and excited about what we do in the Sports Media, Gaming and Betting sector and are proud of the high ratings we have achieved. We live our values, aiming to enhance and increase the enjoyment of sport through innovative products and immersive experiences. Trust is important in how we work, ensuring we are a collaborative unit who holds each other accountable. Relentlessly ambitious in everything we do, we embrace change and understand that failure is part of success.
We use our platform for positive social change and work to build a company our employees are proud to work for. We have a long-term commitment to diversity and inclusion. Our I.D.E.A (Inclusion, Diversity, Equality, Awareness) Forum is critical to our business and is embedded in our organisational structure to support a sense of belonging for everyone and to create a culture that allows all employees to thrive.
We know a job description can often deter an applicant who does not believe they match 100% of our requirements. If you are interested in this position and have relevant experience, then we would still love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Deeply understand our customers by conducting qualitative and quantitative research to inform design decisions and enhance company-wide customer knowledge.
- Deliver simple, intuitive, and impactful designs that improve the overall experience rather than focusing on isolated features. You'll incorporate service design thinking into your solutions.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and design patterns, applying insights to your work and sharing knowledge with Product Managers and fellow designers.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to refine the roadmap, define solutions based on user needs, and break down designs into deliverable phases that add value for both users and the business.
- Help lead the experience and design development of product features, considering information architecture, accessibility, consistency, and ethical design.
- Create evidence-based design solutions, iterating based on research, feedback, and real-world usage.
- Build strong relationships and facilitate design discussions with key stakeholders across the business.
- Use a variety of methods—such as workshops, data analysis, rapid prototyping, and design critique sessions—to explore and refine design solutions.
- Balance customer needs with business goals, ensuring recommendations align with both.
- Advocate for product design throughout the organisation, championing a seamless end-to-end customer experience.
- A leadership mindset, always guiding, sharing knowledge, and elevating those around you.
- Significant experience as a Product Designer within an in-house team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident in sharing work and recommendations with diverse audiences.
- A strong focus on outcomes, ensuring designs solve real problems rather than just delivering features.
- A naturally inquisitive mindset, always asking "why" and digging deeper to uncover root causes.
- Agile and adaptable, able to balance rapid delivery with high-quality solutions.
- Open to exploring multiple design approaches, recognising that there are many ways to solve a problem.
- Confident in creating customer segments, journey maps, storyboards, user flows, and sketches.
- Hands-on experience conducting research and testing, including user interviews, face-to-face sessions, industry analysis, and usability testing.
- Proven experience delivering user-centric, responsive, multi-device experiences across web and native apps (we are app-first).
- A strong passion for sports is essential.
- An understanding of the gambling industry is beneficial.
- Fridays off: Say goodbye to Friday meetings and hello to a three-day weekend! This benefit is part of a 6-month trial, starting 19th May
- Company Performance Bonus
