Overview
Be part of a bold energy company on a mission to power a sustainable future in the UK. We're on the hunt for a passionate, forward-thinking Senior Product Manager who loves turning big ideas into real impact. In this role, you'll shape a scalable platform, cut through complexity, and make strategic moves that unlock fresh opportunities. You'll work hand-in-hand with our tech teams, using creativity and collaboration to solve tough challenges and spark innovation. If you thrive on bringing order to chaos and want your work to make a visible difference, this is your next big adventure.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position with a hybrid working model. The role requires one day per week in the London office, with occasional travel to the Nottingham office for infrequent meetings.
Responsibilities
- Drive the full product lifecycle from discovery to launch, delivering seamless, high-quality integrations that elevate user experiences.
- Lead the technical side of partnerships, ensuring smooth, reliable integrations with third-party platforms.
- Be the product voice in engineering-focused discussions, balancing immediate priorities with a forward-looking vision that keeps future possibilities open.
- Champion and inspire, share your product vision with clarity and passion, motivating teams and stakeholders across the organization.
- Embrace iteration and experimentation, accelerating learning, adaptation, and continuous improvement.
- Shape the Product Community by sharing insights, mentoring peers, and setting a higher standard for product excellence. Align your team around tackling the most critical challenges and seizing high-impact opportunities.
- Develop deep market intelligence, uncovering user needs, behaviours, and the full breadth of product possibilities.
- Harness data-driven insights to sharpen strategies, maximize performance, and deliver meaningful value to users.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field - or equivalent professional experience that shows you've mastered your craft.
- Proven success in product management, with a track record of driving complex, technical initiatives from concept to launch.
- Strong product fundamentals: adept at discovery, prioritization, and strategy to guide smart decisions in high-stakes, fast-moving environments.
- Skilled in user research and discovery, with a passion for working closely alongside technical teams to bring insights to life.
- Deep understanding of emerging technology trends and how to translate them into real-world product opportunities.
- A strategic thinker who can deliver immediate results while always keeping the future in focus.
- Exceptional communicator and leader, able to energize and align cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, with a knack for creating clarity and momentum in uncertain or volatile markets.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, AWS, Google Suite, Mixpanel, and Miro (a plus, not a requirement).
- Outstanding collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience in energy flexibility or other highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of large-scale integrations and the dynamics of complex technical ecosystems.
- A track record that proves you can balance immediate delivery pressures with a long-term, strategic vision.
