Location: Manchester (Deansgate) | Hybrid – Fully flexible working hours

This is a unique opportunity to recruit in one of the most exciting and impactful markets globally – Data Science & Artificial Intelligence. My client has built one of the highest-performing tech recruitment teams in the UK, billing over £1.6m from a standing start last year. The market is candidate-led and highly technical, meaning you’ll partner with in-demand professionals on the planet—from scientists driving drug development breakthroughs to engineers building cutting-edge AI products. This is a high-value market with average fees of $65k+, retained projects, and strong relationships at exec-search level.

This role offers the platform, the support, and the financial upside to succeed in AI and Data Science.

What You’ll Do

• Build and own relationships in the AI & Data Science space.
• Work full 360: developing new business and managing long, high-value processes.
• Operate credibly at senior and technical levels, guiding niche candidates through complex hiring journeys.
• Join a high-performing, resilient team where consultants are regularly billing £200k–£500k+.
• Learn directly from inspirational leaders who genuinely invest in their people.

What We’re Looking For

• 12+ months recruitment experience (tech markets ideal: AI, SaaS, GTM, Cyber).
• Proven billing track record (£150k+ ideal, but flexibility for ambitious consultants earlier in their career).
• Resilient, commercially astute, and curious – thrives in complex, technical markets.
• Growth mindset: open to feedback, continuously learning, and motivated to push beyond previous achievements.
• A self-starter who can balance autonomy with collaboration.
