Job overview:

The role

To lead strategic procurement sourcing projects end-to-end, focusing on categories including Technology, Real Estate and Consultancy.

Who you will work with

This is a global role requiring engagement with stakeholders across multiple offices. You will work day-to-day with the procurement team, risk teams, business stakeholders, and fee earners up to Executive Director level.

What you will be responsible for

The Senior Sourcing Manager will be responsible for key relationships and global spend areas, in particular:

  • Technology
  • Real Estate
  • Professional Services/Consultancy

To act as a procurement subject matter expert across your area and collaborate with the Procurement team and their stakeholders. Negotiate commercial and contract terms with suppliers. Support initiatives to ensure growing compliance with the Firm’s global procurement policies. Contribute as a Procurement team member and help drive the Procurement value proposition.

What you will do

As a member of the wider Procurement team, you will run and manage RFPs, review contracts, negotiate with suppliers, manage internal stakeholders and work as part of a team. You will present and influence stakeholders to articulate complex projects, with agreement up to Executive Director level.

Qualifications – Your experience

  • A strong understanding of procurement best practice, processes and tools and their application to a comparable organization.
  • Strong understanding of procurement categories including Technology and Real Estate.
  • Experience delivering large cost savings and efficiency opportunities through global sourcing strategies.
  • Experience leading large, complex global Technology and Real Estate procurement projects.
  • Experience negotiating and marking up supplier contracts.
  • Experience managing and influencing difficult stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership teams and project committees.
