It is unique in the legal sector and sits as a practice group within Pinsent Masons, incorporating Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management and Managed Legal Services (MLS). This role sits within our Flexible Services team. Responsibilities
Engagement: Outbound engagement to our talent base via call and email to maintain connectivity; organize and attend candidate-facing events (with marketing support); robust database management and updating records; lead weekly candidate check-in meetings with the Account Management team; maintain talent pools in the UK. Recruitment: Act as first point of contact for inquiries from new potential contractors; advertise roles on LinkedIn and identify other channels; headhunt and map talent for specific roles; manage the UK recruitment funnel (review applications, pre-screen, provide feedback, progress to next stage); provide input to continually enhance recruitment processes; collaborate with other Pinsent Masons talent teams to share talent and best practices. Other responsibilities: Support the Talent Engagement lead on strategic engagement projects (e.g., launch of a training platform and diversity reporting); establish trusted relationships with the Account Management team; seek new ideas to engage legal talent and promote the Pinsent Masons Vario brand; maintain flexible working approaches as required.
Candidate Overview / Qualifications
Experience in a professional services environment with strong customer service mentality. Robust understanding of the legal market and the sectors in which Pinsent Masons operates. Legal or professional recruitment experience; LinkedIn Recruiter experience desirable. Energised by outbound contact—making calls and staying in touch with candidates. Organised and methodical approach; ensure inquiries are handled promptly, professionally and warmly; accurate database activity recording. Team player who goes the extra mile to ensure quality of output. Agile working (opportunity to work from home, subject to diary commitments).
