Meet the team behind this journey
We’re seeking a result-driven and experienced Technical Program Manager to help DeepL accelerate product delivery by effectively planning and executing our major initiatives, which include both technical and non-technical projects.
You will be a partner and sometimes the main driver, working closely with product, research, engineering, analytics, design, security, and go-to-market teams to help their functions collaborate on program goals with maximum efficiency in an environment of trust and diversity.
You will be required to demonstrate excellent problem-solving, goal-oriented, business-oriented skills, project management, and interpersonal skills.
The role would require the ability to influence business decisions through quantitative and qualitative insights and continually drive optimization of product development in partnership with product operations managers.
Your responsibilities
Have programs properly planned, with all timelines and milestones in place
Have all responsible people aligned at every moment in time around the goals, scope, quality, and deadlines of the projects within the program
Make sure risks are defined and mitigated
Resolve obstacles and ensure efficient and timely execution of the plan in teams
Ensure execution transparency for all stakeholders
Pursue standards and artefacts for program/project management in the company
Qualities we look for
4+ years of experience as a project manager/delivery manager in a tech company
At least 1 year of experience as a Program Manager in a tech company
Technical education (computer science or similar)
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP certificate is a plus)
Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle from conception to delivery
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ability to structure and simplify information.
Exceptional execution skills
High EQ: shows the ability to gain trust and set up good relationships with different people
