What you’ll be doing:

• Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of software engineers
• Building technical capability and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Driving modern software practices (CI/CD, testing, DevOps ways of working)
• Working closely with product, design, and senior stakeholders to align delivery with business goals
• Supporting resourcing, recruitment, and career development across the team

Desired background:

• Proven leadership and people management experience (mentoring, reviews, career growth)
• Track record of guiding technical teams delivering high-availability, customer-facing platforms
• Strong knowledge of modern engineering practices and software delivery models
• Experience influencing strategy and balancing technical & business priorities
