Hyperloop Recruitment are partnered with a leading client near Wrexham who are looking for a Software Engineering Manager (Java) to join their growing team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small team of software engineers and QAs
• Provide technical expertise and leadership
• Promote Agile processes across the team and wider organisation
• Lead design and development of Java-based solutions, with emphasis on scalability and reliability
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and priorities

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong coding background in Java
• Technical leadership
• People management
• AWS microservice architecture
• Automated testing methods
• Agile
• Ability to design scalable systems
• IoT experience is a plus

Offer & Requirements

The role is paying up to £85,000 basic + bonus and private medical insurance. It will require 1-2 days per week in the office (location on request).
