The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying and validating code quality, contributing to the delivery of software solutions, and supporting the development of comprehensive test documentation.This is a contract role lasting around 12 months, and offers a 3 day onsite and 2 day from home working week.As a Software Test Engineer, you will be a key member of the agile development team, working collaboratively to design, implement, and test features for a new product.Your primary responsibilities will include:Executing manual and automated testing using Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Java, and Postman (or similar technologies)Defining test cases and running test phases throughout the development processInterpreting Model Based System Engineering Diagrams and supporting Test Readiness Boards and Test ReviewsCompleting test phases independently and within a team environmentTo excel in this Software Test Engineer role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:Proven experience in Agile development processes and test automation using Java and SeleniumExpertise in testing REST architectures, including the use of PostmanStrong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to self-motivate and work effectively within a teamExcellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workEffective communication and stakeholder management skillsIf you are interested in this position and would like to know more, please apply with an updated CV and one of our consultants will be in touch.
