Join our Enterprise Architecture Team within the Digital Data and Technology Division, which provides both operational IT services and transformational capability for delivering change programmes. Our team includes project and change managers, PMO, Business Analysts, Developers, DevOps, and Architects—all working together to align strategy, processes, and technology to achieve UKEF’s goals.

About the Role

As a Solution Architect, you’ll be at the heart of designing secure-by-design engineering solutions that solve real business problems. You’ll bridge the gap between business needs and technology, translating complex requirements into scalable, supportable, and resilient architectures.

You’ll work across multiple technical domains, collaborating with Business Analysts, Product Managers, and Developers to define features, development phases, and solution requirements. You’ll also play a key role in transitioning from legacy systems to modern, flexible platforms—supporting UKEF’s journey to becoming intelligence-led and data-driven.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver robust, user-focused technology solutions aligned with UKEF’s digital strategy
• Maintain architectural blueprints and ensure systems work cohesively
• Lead solution design across the Digital function, ensuring alignment with business strategy
• Develop strategic roadmaps and transition plans for new services and legacy integration
• Collaborate with the Data Architect to maintain enterprise-level data models
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentor development colleagues
• Ensure architectural standards are understood and implemented across the organisation
• Engage with stakeholders to align digital solutions with strategic objectives
