Overview

Bramwith Consulting – Supply Chain Manager for Major Infrastructure Programme (Midlands, Hybrid – 3 days on site).

Salary: £55k - £65k + Car & Bonus. To apply, contact Adam at a.venting@bramwithconsulting.com.

Our client is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to play a pivotal role in a £2bn+ major construction programme. This is a 10-year, multi-billion-pound project that will require the design, mobilisation, and development of a world-class supply chain.

This role is about building and shaping a supply chain ecosystem from the ground up, working with suppliers, SMEs, and strategic partners to ensure readiness, resilience, and compliance.

The role will evolve through three key phases: Mobilisation, Development, and Engagement.

Mobilisation – Identifying, engaging, and onboarding the right suppliers in a market with significant barriers to entry.

Development – Embedding performance management, sustainability, health & safety, and social value across the supply chain.

Engagement – Driving SME participation and developing local supply chain capability to meet long-term commitments.

Ideal Candidate Background

  • A background in supply chain development/engagement (construction experience with a Tier 1 contractor is a bonus).
  • Skilled in supplier relationship management, performance management, and risk/compliance oversight.
  • Comfortable operating on highly regulated projects (nuclear/defence/infrastructure experience is an advantage).
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills – able to work with a variety of personalities and suppliers.
  • Keen, proactive, and collaborative – more of a facilitator and developer than a transactional buyer.

Why Join?

  • Join a high-profile programme from the ground floor, with long-term visibility (10+ years).
  • Work alongside senior leaders, reporting directly to the Procurement & Supply Chain Director within a blue-chip organisation.
  • Influence one of the UK’s most strategically important infrastructure programmes.

If you're passionate about building supply chains that go beyond cost savings delivering on safety, quality, sustainability, and social value, this is a unique opportunity to make an impact.
