Overview

Our client is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its HR team, supporting recruitment across the UK, Spain, and Australia. This newly created position is designed to meet the needs of a growing business and offers the opportunity to work on both high-volume recruitment and specialist hiring.

Location & Contract

Location: Remote (UK-based, with occasional travel to Manchester)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers to assess hiring requirements and define recruitment strategies.
  • Act as an internal consultant on recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and retention.
  • Manage the end-to-end candidate experience from application through to onboarding.
  • Write and post job adverts, manage applications, and screen candidates.
  • Conduct phone interviews and assess internal and external applicants.
  • Source talent using a variety of direct and cost-effective approaches, including passive candidate outreach.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system, ensuring compliance with policies and data protection laws.
  • Continuously improve recruitment processes and candidate experience.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ recruitment experience (in-house or agency).
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume hiring in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and data to inform hiring decisions.
  • Highly organised, ambitious self-starter with strong prioritisation skills.
  • Experience in both agency and in-house recruitment.
  • Background in technology or R&D hiring.
  • International or global recruitment experience.
  • Familiarity with Workday (advantageous).
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Additional 5 personal leave days per year
  • Annual lifestyle reward allowance (£325 per annum / pro rata)
