Overview

Technical Application Specialist — Lloyds Banking Group. This role is part of the Technology Tools team within Operations & Service Enablement, focusing on observability and cloud-focused monitoring and alerting as part of the tech modernisation agenda.

Salary Range: £70,929 - £78,810

What You’ll Do

  • Using diagnostic skills to analyse technical information from a range of sources, providing effective solutions and strategies for improving service and processes in complex environments.
  • Install and maintain products and services to ensure high standards, policies and service levels are adhered to.
  • Analyse application performance, review existing deployments and identify gaps or improvements.
  • Evaluate, plan and lead on new Systems Management technologies and initiatives, keeping customer interests at the heart of every decision.
  • Input into risk processes and conform with SOX and ITEC processes.
  • Mentor and nurture junior team members, developing their knowledge and skills.

What You’ll Need

  • Experience on the pipeline delivery and management of Dynatrace on cloud platforms
  • Experience of design/delivery solutions for Dynatrace implementations, configuration integrations and APIs
  • Cloud DevOps tooling skills – GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps & Spinnaker
  • Scripting skills across languages such as PERL, BASH, SHELL, HTML, XML, C, SQL, JavaScript, JSP, XSLT, Python & Jython
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills to work with a wide range of colleagues
  • Proactive in balancing workload and priorities, with the ability to gain support from senior management

Desirable

  • Technical knowledge of Traditional Platforms UNIX, Linux, Windows & VMware
  • Networking skills (TCP/IP, SOAP, WAN/LAN infrastructure, HTTP/S, firewalls, VPNs, etc.)
