A leading global financial services firm is seeking a Technology Implementation Manager to join its high-performing technology change team. This role supports a cutting-edge trading platform trusted by clients across the energy, commodities, and financial markets. You will work with key stakeholders across the business and with current systems functionality across multiple asset classes, such as FX, commodities, and fixed income, with a strong delivery focus to maximise value from best-in-class off-the-shelf systems.

Key Responsibilities for the Technology Implementation Manager role

  • Lead the technology delivery and integration of acquisitions and drive business change initiatives aligned with the firm’s change management processes.
  • Coordinate the integration and rationalisation of technology systems as part of the acquisition pipeline; liaise between Heads of Technology and business stakeholders to support decision-making on change and rationalisation.
  • Connect business engagement, infrastructure teams, facilities, and the wider technology management function to ensure seamless execution and alignment across departments.
  • Collaborate with Technology and Business teams to define and shape strategic workstreams that guide the integration and rationalisation roadmap.
  • Partner with Business Technology to ensure workstreams are aligned with business objectives and functional deliverables.
  • Maintain alignment with the Technology Strategy, understanding impact during change prioritisation and focusing on current platforms where appropriate.
  • Provide regular reporting on progress, prioritisation, resource requirements, and costs to stakeholders.
  • Ensure delivered systems meet production-grade standards and are well documented for handover to business users and support teams.
  • Demonstrate good knowledge across multiple asset classes; commodities knowledge is advantageous.
  • Project planning and coordination; experience with large-scale technology migrations and office builds.
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies, cloud services, hosting, and deployment; ability to architect secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure and software.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a middle office or operational role within a trading environment.
  • Exposure to risk and regulatory regimes such as MiFID and EMIR.
  • A solid understanding of the trade lifecycle; familiarity with change and rationalisation tools is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to collaborate with senior technology leadership and drive cross-functional change.

Salary and Benefits

The salary on offer for this Technology Implementation Manager role is up to £140,000 + Bonus + Benefits. The company operates a hybrid model with 3 days per week in the office, near major tube stations including Liverpool Street.
