Join Our Friendly and Passionate Veterinary Team at Rhodes Vets!

Are you a Small Animal Vet looking for a practice where your voice is heard, your development is supported, and your work-life balance actually works? At Rhodes Vets, we’re proud to offer just that—along with a welcoming, collaborative team and a loyal client base.

Our practice is beautifully laid out with four consult rooms including one dedicated for nurse clinics, a spacious theatre, a dental suite complete with dental X-ray, digital X-ray, ultrasound, and a well-stocked lab. We also have separate waiting areas for cats and dogs, large kennels (including a separate cat ward), and a calm, inviting atmosphere. There’s also plenty of space to catch your breath, with generous staff rooms, a dedicated office area for admin or lunch-and-learns, and, of course, a very well-stocked biscuit tin. Our equipment includes Ultrasound, Refractometer, Multiparameter, tonometer, blood pressure machine, digital radiography including dentistry, endoscope, active heating devices, extensive existing orthopaedic kit, existing exotics equipment.

Our main practice is based in the lovely area of Kingsthorpe, Northampton, with a satellite consulting branch in Far Cotton. You’ll need a driving licence and your own car for the occasional travel between sites, but in return you’ll enjoy working across two well-equipped, friendly environments where no two days are the same.

As a small animal vet here, you’ll enjoy a nice balance of consults and surgery. We see a wide variety of cases, from routine surgeries like spays and castrates to soft tissue work, lump removals, and dentals. Our consults are long enough to allow for meaningful case workups and to build lasting relationships with our clients, many of whom have been with us for years.
