Overview

Volunteer: Writer/Journalist Programme at The Borgen Project. The Borgen Project is an international organization working to make poverty a focus of U.S. and U.K. foreign policy. The role focuses on content creation for BORGEN Magazine or The Borgen Project Blog.

This is a part-time, unpaid remote programme of 12 hours per week for 12 weeks. If availability is limited, you can work ahead and complete the programme in fewer weeks.

Responsibilities

• Article writing.
• Researching topics.
• Assisting with The Borgen Project\'s advocacy efforts.
• Assisting with fundraising and creating a personal fundraising campaign to meet targets.

Qualifications

Experience: No prior experience is necessary. The organization is looking for people who are passionate about fighting poverty, regardless of GPA or background.

• This is an unpaid programme, although college credit is available.
• Start date: New programmes begin every month; you choose the month to start.
