Workforce Planning Lead - Belfast - Permanent

MCS Group is delighted to partner with a leading firm based in Belfast as they look to add a Workforce Planning Lead to their team.

The role

You will focus on strategic workforce planning and analytics, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to build a future-ready workforce.

The main responsibilities

  • Design and implement workforce planning frameworks aligned to business strategy.
  • Analyse workforce data, trends, and capability gaps to generate actionable insights.
  • Facilitate scenario planning and executive workshops to gain senior buy-in.
  • Develop tools, dashboards, and reporting to monitor progress and impact.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to embed sustainable workforce planning practices.

The ideal candidate

  • Proven experience in workforce planning and organisational design.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior level.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions.
