Overview
Role: Analyst/Medical Writer at Costello Medical. This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Global Headquarters in Cambridge, with options to work from our London, Manchester or Bristol offices. Start dates from September 2025 onwards; you will indicate availability on your application. Salary: £39,000 per annum within established salary bands. Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis of clinical trial data and create materials for different audiences in various formats
- Collaborate with clients, including teleconferences and face-to-face meetings with external stakeholders
- Support project management and client communication alongside experienced colleagues
- Work on several projects in different disease areas at any one time
- Engage with different teams within the company to develop a broad understanding of service offerings and clients
Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree in a scientific discipline (minimum 2.1 or equivalent). Postgraduate qualifications (minimum 2.1 or equivalent) are advantageous but not required. Applications welcome from diverse specialisms (e.g., biology, chemistry, pharmacy, medicine)
- Experience planning and writing scientific documents (lab reports, dissertations, posters, articles, peer-reviewed publications, regulatory documents, etc.)
- A self-motivated, eager learner with genuine interest in healthcare and strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical, organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple projects
- Exceptional written English and effective verbal communication; ability to tailor communication to varied audiences
- Collaborative mindset with willingness to share knowledge and take ownership of work and development
- Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
