Overview

Oxford Instruments is seeking an ERP Application Support Analyst to join our Enterprise Applications team. You will support and enhance our ERP systems, ensuring smooth operations across multiple sites, and contribute to new implementations. The role reports to the Technical Manager and involves 1st and 2nd line support for ERP systems (SyteLine), Doc-Trak, Shop-Trak, and associated applications.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for ERP systems (SyteLine), Doc-Trak, Shop-Trak, and associated applications
  • Train users on best practices to drive consistency
  • Liaise with third-party vendors while maintaining ownership of incidents
  • Assist with new site setups and ERP-related projects
  • Use SQL to interrogate and analyse data
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes
  • Manage ERP security and user setup
  • Maintain technical documentation and test new functionality
  • Assist with testing new functionality before release

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject. 2+ years' experience in enterprise-level ERP support. Strong SQL knowledge. Experience with Infor products and/or SyteLine is highly desirable. Knowledge of manufacturing or engineering industries and exposure to PLM applications are desirable. Excellent communication and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects and adapt to change.

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience supporting ERP applications
  • Good technical understanding of SQL
  • Ability and desire to learn new technologies and processes
  • Experience with requirement gathering/analysis and documentation
  • Experience with Infor products and/or SyteLine (highly desirable)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing or engineering industries (desirable)
  • Exposure to PLM applications (desirable)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive, user-focused mindset with a desire to learn and grow

Location & Hours

This role is a hybrid role with the main location being High Wycombe or Bristol. We work 8:00 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday and finish at 13:00 on Friday. We typically work three days per week in the office, so you should be able to travel to High Wycombe or Bristol.
