Overview
Square is seeking a passionate manager to develop and lead a team of Business Development Representatives. Your main focus will be ensuring your team meets monthly performance expectations and developing future talent at Square. You will measure performance by pipeline converted to Account Executives. The Business Development Manager will have a significant impact on our company's success by increasing revenue growth and expanding our customer base. You will report directly to our Director of Business Development.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily coaching and professional development to a team of Business Development Representatives, including weekly 1:1 meetings, weekly shadow sessions, call coaching, and co-selling
- Continue to grow the team through recruiting, onboarding, and training of new BDRs
- Collaborate with different team members and cross-functional partners to align strategies
- Analyze performance data and provide insights and recommendations for improvements
- Track and communicate weekly goals to execute against monthly quota targets
- Become an essential part of Sales Leadership at Square
Qualifications
- At least 2+ years of experience in a sales closing role & 1+ years of experience of sales management or sales team leadership
- Strong time management, leadership skills, and analytical abilities
- Coachable, adaptable, and results driven
- Strong communication skills to deliver feedback to team members, lead team meetings, and collaborate in cross-functional meetings
- Passion for Square & Sales
- Ability to coach and develop team members. This includes performance management of reps, outbound calls and shadows, and pipeline management.
- Background of hiring, training, and enabling reps for success
This is a hybrid role requiring 1-2 days in the London office
