Overview

I am working with a leading Channel Islands bank that is assessing the viability of a new FX trading platform. They’re seeking an experienced Business Analyst to play a key role in the pre-project phase.

Location: Jersey (preferred) or London (with travel)

The Role

You will gather, structure, and validate requirements across multiple stakeholders including banking, compliance, technology, and regulators. Your work will ensure customer journeys, processes, and regulatory considerations are clearly defined to support the success of this initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and document requirements across business, compliance, technology, and regulatory teams
  • Review KYC/CDD requirements across jurisdictions (Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man)
  • Assess regulatory and tax implications for cross-border FX transactions
  • Produce business requirements documents, process flows, and gap analyses
  • Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to validate and reconcile requirements

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven BA experience in financial services (FX, payments, or regulatory change ideal)
  • Strong knowledge of KYC/CDD and regulatory frameworks
  • Skilled in process mapping and structured documentation
  • Familiarity with FX systems such as Murex or SAP is a plus
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
