Join our Enterprise and Mid-Market team at Sky Business as a Business Development Manager. What You'll Do
- Seek new brands / logos for Sky Business and deliver and develop high volume telecoms (inc voice / Data & SDWan / Corporate business critical services) sales from mid to large sized national businesses with standardised and repeatable value propositions
- Successfully deliver sales campaigns into mid-market prospects / new business acquisition targets
- Support the build, running and growth of a fully managed prospect pipeline to deliver a high quality, solution-sale to over achieve pipeline ratio to closure
- Be trading focused and commercially aware, you'll be continually looking for opportunities to drive profitability and faster growth for the business.
- Be accountable for the ongoing account management and customer happiness of our Mid-Market accounts
- Partner with marketing and product management to trial and scale sales of new B2B products and value propositions (including new pricing and packaging)
- Maintain accurate and timely account forecasts, including regular updates of Salesforce to ensure pipeline is accurate
- To deliver high quality relationship management to a select portfolio of Accounts, incorporating a broad range of contacts including operational and senior management
- To build, update and develop complete and comprehensive account and prospecting plans covering all aspects of each account and incorporating a full sales strategy and plan to achieve revenue growth
- To create effective and efficient calling plans, ensuring that client meetings and internal meetings are undertaken as required
- A track record of delivering high volume new business telecoms sales / deals into mid-sized to large national businesses
- Commercially astute - comfortable with optimising a set of revenue driving KPIs
- Proven track record to secure national telecommunication accounts to prospect, present and close sales
- Experience in a matrix, complex delivery focused organisation - and ideally exposure to a fledgling or start-up business environment
- Resilient in the face of obstacles and experienced in working in a young business with rapidly changing capabilities and demands
- Relentless about achieving sales results even in the face of obstacles and the challenges of a fast evolving business
Sky Business is the business-to-business division of Sky. We provide a wide variety of commercial premises across the UK and ROI with unrivalled entertainment, unmissable live sport and breaking news - connecting and entertaining millions of people every day. We also provide communication services to its customers including Sky WiFI and Sky Ethernet. Our heartland is the licensed trade - pubs, bars and hotels - but we also provide entertainment and connectivity services to oil rigs, sports stadiums, offices, care homes and hospitals, just to name a few!

Your Office Base
This role will also Field based and involve travel around the UK including regular visits to Sky Offices, inc our head office in Isleworth
