Apply now!**## **What you’ll be doing*** Identifying new business opportunities by recommending and shaping the pipeline based on market trends and white space.* Focusing on early-stage opportunity identification and qualification, and possessing full sales cycle ownership* Building relationships, engaging with and influencing stakeholders in relevant verticals* Value proposition design - feeds insight to refine messaging for nurture campaigns based on buyer insight* Conducting market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and customer needs* Identifying procurement routes and timelines, helping shape early positioning.* Stakeholder engagement across the region or vertical, building net new relationships## **The skills you’ll need**Business DevelopmentCustomer Relationship ManagementCommercial AcumenStakeholder ManagementMarket Research## **What we would like to see on your CV*** Significant experience in business development, particularly in the transport, manufacturing and retail industries* Track record of winning major acquisition business with corporate customers* Telco/ICT or technology sales industry experience is preferable* Has experience in gaining access and building new relationships at executive level* Navigates ambiguous, early-stage opportunities## **Benefits include*** On target commission* BT Pension scheme, minimum 5% Employee contribution, BT contribution 10%* From January 2025, equal family leave: receive 18 weeks at full pay, 8 weeks at half pay and 26 weeks at the statutory rate.
