Join to apply for the Business Development Representative role at Mercer UK in London. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

As a Business Development representative, you will support the running of sales campaigns targeting prospects and existing clients. You will engage with prospects and clients through social media, email and telephone engagements. You will work with stakeholders across the business, including Sales Professionals, Product teams, Client Relationship Managers and Marketing. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted sales campaigns to engage prospects and existing clients through channels such as social media, email, and phone calls.
  • Build prospect lists using internal CRM systems and external sources like LinkedIn to support campaign efforts.
  • Drive attendance at events such as workshops, webinars, and conferences, and follow up with prospects post-event to generate sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across sales, product, client relationship management, and marketing teams to support business growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of campaign activities, contacts, and sales outcomes to track progress and success.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with confidence in engaging with clients and prospects.
  • Results-driven mindset with excellent time management skills.
  • Some experience in working on sales campaigns focused on acquiring new clients.
  • Genuinely curious about understanding client needs and how Mercer’s services can add value.
