About the Borough

Located in the heart of South London, Lambeth Borough is a vibrant community of over 317,600 residents. We are the 9th largest borough in London, with more than 130 languages spoken. Lambeth offers an enriching and dynamic environment with many cultural and educational amenities.

About the Role

Lambeth Safeguarding Children Partnership (LSCP) is committed to working together to ensure that all children and young people in Lambeth are safe, secure and protected from harm. We are seeking a Business Support Officer to help us achieve this. The partnership is supported by a small team, so we’re looking for a candidate who is excited by a challenge and will proactively get involved in all aspects of the partnership’s work, providing comprehensive business support as required. Duties include mailbox management, finance processing, inputting, storing, and archiving data, meeting arrangements, note taking, and supporting the delivery of our training programme.

Your communication skills will be exemplary; you’ll be able to digest complex information and communicate it in an accessible and effective way. You’ll be able to write minutes that clearly capture key discussions and actions. You’ll also update information for the LSCP website and Twitter feed. You’ll be able to form positive professional relationships across agencies to coordinate diaries and schedule important meetings and functions.

If you have any questions or queries about the role, please contact Kersha Clarke, the Partnership Manager, at kclarke@lambeth.gov.uk. For detailed qualifications and requirements, please review the job description and person specification in the hyperlink below.
