Job description for Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) in Woolpit, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk IP30 9UP. Salary £45,000 per annum. Hours 37.5 per week. Contract: Permanent. Reference: 0403.

The role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the charity, line management of the charity's employees and to work with the trustees to deliver the charity's statement of purpose and implement the charity's strategy.

Responsibilities

• Leadership, operational management, governance, people management and partnership development.
• Strategic development, leadership of the whole organisation, high levels of governance, financial management, relationship management and line management.

What you will need

• to be educated to A-level standard or equivalent diploma level qualifications
• to have significant experience of working in the voluntary sector or similar organisation
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• flexibility to meet the needs of the service, must be able to travel across Suffolk to be able to attend meetings offsite etc.
