A successful accountancy practice based in Bideford has a requirement for a Client Manager to join them, taking on a client portfolio of wide-ranging industry sole traders, partnerships and limited company OMBs & SMEs, ensuring a quality service across both hands-on and review of year end accounts, tax and wider services, managing teams and working closely with the Partners as key right-hand support with a clear progression path on offer.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the management and delivery of accounting/tax and wider services for client portfolios, including sole traders, partnerships and limited company OMBs/SMEs.
• Provide hands-on service delivery and oversee/mentor the team in a review/mentoring capacity.
• Develop client relationships, deliver added value, and conduct advisory and planning work.
• Collaborate with partners to support business growth and provide a clear progression path within the firm.

Profile / Qualifications

• Open to candidates with AAT, ACA/ACCA/CTA qualifications, or equivalent experience.
• Experience within accountancy practice at or around managerial level.
• Background across accounts/tax in small, medium, large independent, or Top 50/Top Tier firms as a general accountancy practice professional.
• Strong communication and people management skills with a track record of client service and delivery.

Job Offer / Benefits

• Circa £38,000 – £50,000, depending on background and experience, plus benefits; negotiable.
