Salary range: 40k - 70k (depending on experience). Multiple vacancies at various levels; candidates ranging from 6 months to 10 years PQE are considered.

Location: Multiple offices across Lancashire with hybrid availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a broad portfolio of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and development work.
  • Provide strategic advice on a wide range of commercial property matters, offering tailored, commercially‑driven solutions.
  • Research and analyse case law and documents to ensure the accuracy and compliance of legal advice.
  • Stay updated on changes in property law and market trends to provide clients with the most relevant, up‑to‑date guidance.
  • Lead negotiations and draft key legal documents, including contracts, leases, and other commercial agreements.
  • Advise clients on property investments and portfolio management to maximise their potential.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming the primary point of contact for key clients.
  • Identify and instruct external experts where necessary to ensure optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Oversee case management, ensuring all deadlines are met and escalated when appropriate.
  • Contribute to the firm’s growth by leveraging professional contacts to generate new business opportunities.
  • Monitor and meet personal time recording and billing targets to ensure ongoing efficiency.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, including trainees, paralegals, and support staff, to foster their professional development.

Skills and Experience

  • A qualified solicitor with experience in commercial property law.
  • Strong knowledge of property law and a keen understanding of the market.
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring junior team members is desirable.
