What you will be doing... Reporting to the Principal Delivery Manager, our Agile Delivery Manager will be an excellent communicator, comfortable with working with senior stakeholders and able to provide clear progress updates throughout the full project lifecycle. You'll work well with the communities of practice to ensure an atmosphere of continuous improvement is fostered and that there is a consistency of processes and practices across both e-commerce and internal application development. Our growth plans are high and increasing volumes of visitors and data need to be major considerations for each decision as an Agile Delivery Manager; whether you're delivering projects for our multi-channel, public-facing e-commerce platform or for our business-facing internal web applications.

Responsibilities

  • In this exciting role at Jet2 and Jet2Holidays, our Agile Delivery Manager will work collaboratively with Software Engineering Management to successfully deliver multiple software development projects across multiple teams in our fast-paced agile delivery environment. You'll also:
  • Ensure projects are delivered as effectively as possible.
  • Be responsible for the line management of the Agile Delivery Leads in the UK.

Qualifications

  • Ideally, our Agile Delivery Manager will be a Certified Scrum Master. You'll also have:
  • Previously delivered multiple large-scale software development projects for the web.
  • Managed teams from requirements into teams, through iterative delivery to successful release to production and adoption by end-users.
  • Experience in a scaled Agile framework, such as SAFe or LeSS is important.
  • Experienced in Agile coaching, training and improving delivery practices across the Agile Delivery Leads and Software Development teams.
  • A clear understanding of operating at scale is essential.
