We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to be a force multiplier for our product teams. You won’t just be facilitating ceremonies; you will be the Orchestrator of the team’s execution plan, the guardian of its health, and a key partner in our journey to becoming a world-class, product-led organization.

As a Delivery Manager, you will be the servant leader who ensures our product teams can operate at their full potential. You will drive operational excellence, enabling faster learning cycles, more predictable delivery, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, resolve, and escalate impediments—from tactical daily blockers to complex, systemic issues that span multiple teams.
  • Masterfully manage dependencies within and across teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment to prevent delays.
  • Champion high-integrity commitment management, coaching teams on creating realistic forecasts and communicating progress transparently.
  • Partner with teams to streamline the path to production, improving deployment frequency and ensuring releases are smooth and efficient.
  • Cultivate a culture of trust, collaboration, and psychological safety where problems can be raised and solved without fear of blame.
  • Coach teams on self-organization, effective collaboration, and conflict resolution, helping them mature their Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Champion a mindset of continuous improvement, using metrics and retrospectives to identify and act on opportunities to work smarter.
  • Act as a key coach and partner to Product Managers, helping them bridge the gap between strategic discovery and tactical delivery.
  • Influence and align stakeholders, providing transparency into the team's progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Contribute to and help build our Delivery Management community of practice, sharing knowledge, and standardizing best practices across Elanco.

Minimum qualifications

  • Extensive Experience: Proven success in a delivery-focused role (e.g., Delivery Manager, Senior Scrum Master, Agile Coach) within a large, cross-functional, product-led organization.
  • Transformation Champion: Experience navigating and driving large-scale organizational change, such as an agile or product model transformation. You understand the challenges and can help guide teams through ambiguity.
  • Deep Expertise: A deep, practical understanding of Agile and Lean principles, with the ability to adapt frameworks like Scrum and Kanban to fit the team’s context, rather than applying them dogmatically.
  • A Strategic Mindset: The ability to see beyond the team level to identify systemic bottlenecks and opportunities for broader organizational improvement.
  • A Coaching Heart: A genuine passion for coaching individuals and teams to help them grow and improve. You are comfortable coaching across all levels, from team members to Product Managers, and can constructively partner with and coach leadership to help foster new skills and an agile mindset.
  • Exceptional Facilitation Skills: You are an expert facilitator who can guide teams through complex conversations, planning sessions, and conflict resolution with ease.
  • Data-Driven Approach: You use metrics not as a weapon, but as a tool to help teams understand their performance and drive meaningful improvements.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working in a regulated, multi-agency, or international environment.
  • Formal certifications (e.g., CSM, PSM II, SAFe, PRINCE2 / PRINCE2 Agile) are valued but secondary to real-world experience.
