About the role
This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered.
We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role.
This role is based at one of our sites in Newcastle or the Midlands (Derby/Kettering); however there will be a need to travel regularly across the UK to visit all our manufacturing and logistics sites.
What you\'ll do
- Lead the Greggs Supply Chain capital engineering programme, overseeing the planning and execution of capital projects across our manufacturing and logistics sites, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with our business growth and operational needs.
- Drive the development and delivery of a robust maintenance strategy that improves asset reliability, reduces downtime, and supports sustainability goals across all sites.
- Ensure programmes are appropriately resourced by working closely with site teams and central functions to make sure capital and maintenance programmes have the right people, skills, and investment to succeed.
- Ensure our engineering assets are legally compliant, well-maintained, and aligned with Greggs\' wider business objectives, supporting both operational performance and long-term planning.
- Playing a key role as a member of the Greggs Supply Chain Leadership Team, you\'ll report directly to the Supply Chain Director, contributing to strategic decision-making and helping shape the future of our supply operations.
