Salary: Up to £50,000, depending on experience plus benefits including 26 days annual leave, pension, life insurance, and flexible working.

Our client, a leading Trade Association based in Southwark, Central London, is seeking a Head of Membership Engagement to join their team.

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will develop and implement strategies for membership engagement, recruitment, and retention to support the organization’s growth and member satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review and enhance current membership engagement, recruitment, and retention strategies.
2. Build relationships with members at a senior level and identify prospective members.
3. Create and execute a membership growth plan targeting UK-wide expansion.
4. Communicate benefits effectively and respond to member inquiries.
5. Implement processes to improve member experience and feedback mechanisms.
6. Manage membership applications, renewals, and related administrative tasks.
7. Promote activities through various channels such as the website and communications.
8. Design and oversee annual membership surveys for continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile:

Significant experience in growing and managing membership services, strategic planning, and business development within relevant sectors. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, experience with CRM databases, and the ability to network effectively are essential.

While primarily based in London, attendance at events across England and Wales is required.
